Welcome!

For questions regarding health conditions and doing intestinal cleansing please view our contraindications page here..., or, check with your healthcare practitioner. We reserve the right to require a prescription for services.

Can I do intestinal cleansing on my period?

Yes. This is a great time to do intestinal cleansing. Please remember to remove tampons and diva cups prior to your session.

Can I do intestinal cleansing if I am pregnant or nursing?

No. Not at Colon Care, LLC. during first or third trimester. Please let us know if you are nursing. (we serve herbal tea and replenish drinks).

Can I do intestinal cleansing if I have had a Colonoscopy or Intestinal Surgery or Intestinal Procedures in the last 6 weeks?

No. Not at Colon Care, LLC.

Is intestinal cleansing painful?

Colon hydrotherapy should NOT be painful. Sometimes during the session the muscles of the colon contract suddenly, expelling considerable liquid, gas and waste into the rectum. The contraction may feel like cramping or gas in the rectum or lower abdomen and is alleviated when the flow of water ceases or the session ends.

Can I go to work afterwards?

Yes! Most definately.  Most people return to work or go about their every day activities.

Will I need to stay close to a bathroom after the session?

No. Most people do NOT need to stay close to a bathroom.

Do we offer intestinal cleansing to children?

Yes. We do offer colon hydrotherpay services for children at least 8 years of age or older. However, a parent is REQUIRED to remain with them in the room the entire time. The child has to want to do the session and verbally say so.

The size of the child and emotional state are huge considerations. The rectal tube is made for adults. There is not one for children. Some children (even 8 years and older) are just too small to do the session.

The more relaxed a child is, the better the session will go. Children tend to be much more nervous than adults. Girls tend to be more nervous than boys. They may want to bring their own music, book on tape or dvd to play.

Can I bring my children during my session?

We love children but are not equipped to properly care for them at our facility while YOU are having a session. Our facility is NOT child safe and we have no space or toys for them to play. Our staff is focused on serving each client and can not watch small children. The sessions work best for our clients if they are focused on cleansing and not caring for children. Most moms love the hour of being able to focus on themselves and find it very relaxing here.

Do I have to do 2 sessions in a row the first time I go to Colon Care, LLC?

YES. Please TRUST our years of experience...

If you are an Established Colon Care, LLC client, or a client from our previous facility, you may schedule for one session at a time, unless your physician has stated otherwise. I have your best interest in mind by asking you to trust my 8 years experience in intestinal cleansing and over 10,000 sessions, in requiring 2 sessions in a row for all new clients.

Even if you do frequent colon hydrotherapy at other places, sessions at Colon Care, LLC affect the body differently, and we have that policy for the best interest of our client. Most of the referring physicians even prescribe 2 sessions in a row (minimum) for their RETURNING patients.

Despite critics, colonics gain grass-roots fans...

By Special to The Oregonian

Colon hydrotherapists say they believe it's only a matter of time before the therapy gains an even wider acceptance with the public and, eventually, with the medical establishment.

A New Choice For Colonoscopy Preparation

In this article, dated January 24, 2008, a respected medical professional, Dr.Joseph Fiorito, M.D., chief of the Section of Gastroenterology, a nationally
recognized program at Danbury Hospital, a regional medical center and university teaching hospital in Danbury, Connecticut reinforces the advantages of colon hydrotherapy, in an article in which he refers to colon hydrotherapy as "an alternative method to cleanse the bowel to prepare for a colonoscopy -- one that is more convenient, quicker, and eliminates having to drink a gallon of liquid laxatives the night before".

What Our Wonderful Clients Have To Say...

Doctor Recommended...

"As a physician specializing in detoxification, I often send my patients for colonics. I am also familiar with each of the providers in Portland and ONLY refer to Colon Care. I know that when I send a patient to Rebecca for care, they will be handled professionally in a clean and comforting environment. She is highly trained and her protocols are sophisticated.

My patients have nothing but the best reports to give after visiting her. As a doctor I highly recommend her. - Dr. Justin Hoffman, Now in Santa Rosa, CA at http://santarosaweightloss.com

Fantastic experience...

Ever since my diagnosis of breast cancer in 2008, I have been a client of Rebecca for my detoxing and constipation. Colon care was recommended by my naturopath whom I respect and trust. I add that part because i am also in the medical field and am very critical of doctors both for their medical knowledge and personal concern.

Rebecca was professional, caring and encouraging from the moment I met her. Her ongoing concern for myself and other patients is why I continue to go to her under the direction of my naturopath. I will continue to go to her and recommend her to friends." - Katie T.

Clean, professional, doctor-referred...

"I can see why some doctors in the Portland area refer exclusively to Rebecca at Colon Care. The clinic is immaculate, and the process very comfortable and discreet.

Rebecca also has the experience to effectively communicate with her referring doctors to give the safest and most effective treatment for each client. She spends a lot of time educating her clients, and carefully determining what is best for them. Very highly recommended."
