Welcome!

Sessions at Colon Care, LLC are Relaxing, Comfortable and Dignified.

Benefit from the Comprehensive Consult giving you a basic understanding of how you digest food and eliminate waste as well as how the Colon Care system works and what to expect during the session. This is a good time to ask questions and I will do my best to answer them or point you in the right direction. Many people are nervous the first time and I want to address any questions or concerns they have before going further.

What Are Sessions Like?

Watch Part 1 of the Colon Care LLC 2-Part Series

Watch Part 2 of the Colon Care LLC 2-Part Series

During the Sessions you are...

Well Covered at all times for privacy and warmth. We use heated blankets and towel rolls to support the back and neck.

During the Session...

You will comfortably recline on the Colon Care System with a padded back rest and support. Your bottom will go over a basin to eliminate waste into. The waste and odors will go down the basin and out the system.

In Privacy...

You will insert the sterile, disposable rectal tube inside your rectum. The tubes are about the diameter of a pencil and are curved to fit naturally inside your rectum. Only 2 inches goes inside your rectum and you should NOT feel the tube in place. There should be no pain during insertion or during the session.

Through this tube, water that has been ultra purified by our Advanced Water Filtration System, is gently infused into the colon. The colon will receive the water and after a few moments, (5 - 30 seconds) the colon will contract to release waste, water and debris out around the tube, into the basin and out the system. The tube stays in place during the session. It will not come out until you decide to come off of the tube.

The Colon Care system has a sensitive valve that automatically stops the flow of water from going into the colon while you release waste. When your colon is ready to contract and release waste, the system senses that and stops the water from flowing in so you can release waste.

You will get into a rhythm of taking water in and releasing waste out. The Colon Care System works with your own body's natural rhythm. This process takes place for approximately 60 - 90 minutes of cleansing and may tone and reshape the colon. It is like taking your colon to the gym. After all, the colon is a muscle and it can be strengthened.

All Waste and Odors go down the basin and out the system.

There is absolutely no mess or odors during the session. (Colon Care systems vent out all odors and waste goes down the basin without getting waste on you).

If you like, you can watch your releases as they leave your body through the view tube (seeing is believing). If you prefer, you can watch an educational dvd or relax to soft music.

Although Colon Care Sessions last "approximately" 1 hour, we are "not by the clock, but by the colon". Some people need less time and some more. We allow plenty of time for each person to meet their intestinal cleansing needs. Your best interest is our top priority. (Please allow 1 hour and 15 minutes per session at Colon Care, LLC).

Some clients are comfortable with the I-ACT certified therapist in the room assisting them during the session and stimulating the colon to release or you may choose to relax and cleanse in privacy. Our Colon Care therapist serves only 1 person at a time, so over your hour long session, you will get the therapist's undivided attention.

What can I expect during a session?

You may release water, waste, bacteria, microbes, mucus, debris, undigested food/pills and may "pass gas". You will be able to view your releases during the session. The session should not be painful, but a few people experience a little cramping like diarrhea sensation when they are releasing. This passes after the release and ends when the session is over. Many people find the sessions enjoyable and relaxing and report "I feel so much better" or "I feel lighter and cleaner". If you have a chronic illness, you may experience more discomfort than someone who is in general good health.

When your session is finished...

In total privacy (unless assistance is requested) you will gently come off the tube and spend a few minutes making sure you have eliminated all you can. You will get dressed and meet us in the lobby or aftercare room for a few moments of reclining on a comfortable chair to relax and enjoy a refreshing "after session replenish" drink.

When you are ready to leave...

Stop by our receptionist desk to handle any fees and schedule your next colon care appointment or register for one of our nutritional seminars or healthy cooking classes. If you are under a physicians care, we can send your physician a feedback report.

We also invite you to share your experience with others in our guestbook and are always striving to offer you better service. We welcome your suggestions on how to improve our facility and services.

Can I return to work or exercise?...

Most people go back to work or even to work out. Most people have absolutely no issues with "needing to be near a bathroom" after the session. However, if you already have incontinence issues, you may have them after the session. If you do, please bring a pad with you for after the session. If you are on a "cleanse" and/or are "fasting", you might prefer to dedicate the rest of the day to resting. If you have a chronic illness, you may prefer to rest after the session - please check with your physician.

Despite critics, colonics gain grass-roots fans...

By Special to The Oregonian

Colon hydrotherapists say they believe it's only a matter of time before the therapy gains an even wider acceptance with the public and, eventually, with the medical establishment.

A New Choice For Colonoscopy Preparation

In this article, dated January 24, 2008, a respected medical professional, Dr.Joseph Fiorito, M.D., chief of the Section of Gastroenterology, a nationally
recognized program at Danbury Hospital, a regional medical center and university teaching hospital in Danbury, Connecticut reinforces the advantages of colon hydrotherapy, in an article in which he refers to colon hydrotherapy as "an alternative method to cleanse the bowel to prepare for a colonoscopy -- one that is more convenient, quicker, and eliminates having to drink a gallon of liquid laxatives the night before".

What Our Wonderful Clients Have To Say...

Doctor Recommended...

"As a physician specializing in detoxification, I often send my patients for colonics. I am also familiar with each of the providers in Portland and ONLY refer to Colon Care. I know that when I send a patient to Rebecca for care, they will be handled professionally in a clean and comforting environment. She is highly trained and her protocols are sophisticated.

My patients have nothing but the best reports to give after visiting her. As a doctor I highly recommend her. - Dr. Justin Hoffman, Now in Santa Rosa, CA at http://santarosaweightloss.com

Fantastic experience...

Ever since my diagnosis of breast cancer in 2008, I have been a client of Rebecca for my detoxing and constipation. Colon care was recommended by my naturopath whom I respect and trust. I add that part because i am also in the medical field and am very critical of doctors both for their medical knowledge and personal concern.

Rebecca was professional, caring and encouraging from the moment I met her. Her ongoing concern for myself and other patients is why I continue to go to her under the direction of my naturopath. I will continue to go to her and recommend her to friends." - Katie T.

Clean, professional, doctor-referred...

"I can see why some doctors in the Portland area refer exclusively to Rebecca at Colon Care. The clinic is immaculate, and the process very comfortable and discreet.

Rebecca also has the experience to effectively communicate with her referring doctors to give the safest and most effective treatment for each client. She spends a lot of time educating her clients, and carefully determining what is best for them. Very highly recommended."
